In 2019, I ordered marbling inks for a holiday activity with my daughter. Suminagashi is a way of markling by dropping ink onto the surface of water. Saving parts of the paper was an easy matter of using paper meant for recycling to block shapes out on the marbling surface.
The first two attempts before things got more complicated and experimental.
